Overview
RepWiser is designed to help you plan workouts, log training, review progress, and understand recovery. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Information You Provide Or Create
Depending on the features you use, RepWiser may process the following information:
- Workout and fitness data: routines, exercises, sets, reps, weights, RPE, rest timers, tags, notes, cardio entries, workout history, estimated PRs, training trends, and coaching summaries.
- Profile and account data: email address, sign-in state, preferences, units, training goals, experience level, equipment, and app settings.
- Health and recovery data: Apple Health information you permit the app to read, such as sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, recent activity, and workouts.
- Location data: route and distance information for outdoor walks, runs, and rides when you choose to enable outdoor tracking.
- Photos or videos: progress photos or exercise media you choose to use in the app.
- Support and diagnostics: information you include when contacting support, plus app version, build, iOS version, device model, and the screen where feedback was sent.
How RepWiser Uses Information
RepWiser uses information to provide app functionality, including:
- Creating and saving routines and live workouts.
- Showing history, charts, PRs, volume, consistency, and muscle balance.
- Providing recovery and readiness guidance when you enable related permissions.
- Keeping iPhone, Apple Watch, and widgets in sync.
- Saving completed workouts to Apple Health when you enable HealthKit writes.
- Sending reminders, rest alerts, and training notifications when you allow notifications.
- Responding to support requests and improving app reliability.
Apple Health
RepWiser only reads or writes Apple Health data after you grant permission through iOS. Health data is used to power workout, recovery, and readiness features. RepWiser does not use Apple Health data for advertising and does not sell Apple Health data.
Location And Outdoor Tracking
If you enable outdoor cardio tracking, RepWiser may use precise location while the workout is active to record route, distance, pace, and related cardio metrics. Location access is not required for strength training features.
Cloud Sync And AI Features
RepWiser may offer cloud sync so your training data stays available across sessions and devices. Sync data is stored on our managed backend (Supabase).
AI coaching is powered by OpenAI. RepWiser's AI features — the Meera coach, AI workout and nutrition reviews, AI food logging, and weekly insights — send information from your account to OpenAI, L.L.C. through our own servers so a response can be generated. AI features are off until you turn them on. The first time you use an AI feature, RepWiser shows you exactly what is sent and asks for your permission. Nothing is sent to OpenAI before you agree, and you can withdraw permission at any time in Settings › Privacy & Sharing › AI coaching.
When AI coaching is on, the following is sent to OpenAI:
- Profile details — display name, age, sex, height, current and target weight, training goal and experience, training availability, available equipment, and any injuries, limitations or dietary preferences you have entered.
- Training data — workouts you have logged, including exercises, sets, reps, weights and session history, and the workout in progress if you ask during a session.
- Nutrition data — food and drink logged for the day, and the text or description you enter when using AI food logging.
- Apple Health data, only if you have connected Apple Health — sleep duration, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, active energy, step count, and the readiness score derived from them.
- What you type — the question or note you send to the coach.
Your email address, password, payment details, city or location, and progress photos are not sent to OpenAI. OpenAI processes this information solely to return a coaching response to RepWiser. We do not use AI features for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
You should not enter sensitive information into free-text notes that you do not want processed by these features.
Third-Party Services
RepWiser may rely on service providers for authentication, sync, backend processing, crash diagnostics, app distribution, and email support. These providers process information only as needed to provide app functionality, security, support, and reliability.
The third parties RepWiser shares personal data with are:
- OpenAI, L.L.C. — processes the data listed under Cloud Sync And AI Features to generate AI coaching responses, only after you have turned AI features on.
- Supabase — hosts your account and, if you use cloud sync, your synced training data.
- Apple — sign-in, app distribution, and in-app purchases. Google — sign-in, if you choose it.
We require each of these providers, by contract, to protect your information to a standard equal to or greater than the protection described in this policy, to process it only on our instructions for the purposes described here, and not to sell it or use it to train general-purpose models on your data.
Data Retention And Deletion
Workout data remains available in the app unless you delete it or use account/data deletion features where available. If you use cloud sync, deletion may also need to be processed on backend systems. You can contact support for help with data questions or deletion requests.
Your Choices
- You can change Apple Health, Location, Photos, and Notifications permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can choose whether to use optional cloud, AI, outdoor route, and progress photo features.
- You can contact us about privacy requests at support@repwiser.fit.
Beta note: RepWiser may be distributed through TestFlight while features are still being refined. Beta feedback helps improve stability, usability, and reliability before public release.
Children
RepWiser is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and respond.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as RepWiser changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
